On the existence and uniqueness of solution of initial value problem for fractional order differential equations on time scales

n this paper, at first the  concept of Caputo fractionalderivative is generalized on time scales. Then the fractional orderdifferential equations are introduced on time scales. Finally, sufficient and necessary conditions are presented for the existenceand uniqueness of solution of initial valueproblem including fractional order differential equations.

On the Stability of the Best Reply Map for Noncooperative Differential Games

Consider a differential game for two players in infinite time horizon, with exponentially discounted costs. A pair of feedback controls (u1(x), u ∗ 2(x)) is Nash equilibrium solution if u1 is the best strategy for Player 1 in reply to u ∗ 2, and u ∗ 2 is the best strategy for Player 2, in reply to u1. Aim of the present note is to investigate the stability of the best reply map: (u1, u2) 7→ (R1...

Hamiltonian potential functions for differential games

We introduce the concept of Hamiltonian potential function for noncooperative open-loop differential games and characterise necessary and sufficient conditions for its existence. We also identify a class of games admitting a Hamiltonian potential and illustrate appropriate examples pertaining to oligopoly games where price or quantity competition goes along with noncooperative investments eithe...

Hybrid Learning in Stochastic Games and Its Application in Network Security

We consider in this chapter a class of two-player nonzero-sum stochastic games with incomplete information, which is inspired by recent applications of game theory in network security. We develop fully distributed reinforcement learning algorithms, which require for each player a minimal amount of information regarding the other player. At each time, each player can be in an active mode or in a...

Noncooperative games with noncompact joint strategies sets: Increasing best responses and approximation to equilibrium points

In this paper conditions proposed in Flores-Hernández and Montes-de-Oca [3] which permit to obtain monotone minimizers of unbounded optimization problems on Euclidean spaces are adapted in suitable versions to study noncooperative games on Euclidean spaces with noncompact sets of feasible joint strategies in order to obtain increasing optimal best responses for each player. Moreover, in this no...
